    CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDIT INFORMATION
Does your state require CE hours for license renewal?
    Directory of License Requirements

You can search the course catalog by CE hours by selecting this option in the dropdown search box at the top of the course list.

    RACE Approvals:
When appropriate, courses are submitted to RACE (Registry of Approved Continuing Education) for veterinarian and/or technician approval. Approved courses meet the requirements for indicated hours of continuing education credit in jurisdictions which recognize AAVSB's RACE approval; however, participants should be aware that some boards have limitations on the number of hours accepted in certain categories and/or restrictions on certain methods of delivery of continuing education. (AAVSB means American Association of Veterinary State Boards)

To learn more visit their website at RACE.

    VHMA Approvals:
VetMedTeam does not submit management courses to RACE as this organization is structured to provide credits for medical/clinical course, behavior related courses, and other similar topics. Also, most states severely limit or decline the use of management topic credits for veterinary or technician license renewal.

Instead, VetMedTeam submits management and customer service related courses to the VHMA (Veterinary Hospital Manager’s Association) for review and approval. CVPMs (Certified Veterinary Practice Managers) and CVPM candidates may use our VHMA approved courses for required CE credits for either sitting the examination or maintaining certification.
